Assistance falling asleep

Last night I was having trouble falling asleep. Ive been having heart issues (arrythmia/palpatations) and I was in an immense amount of pain and fear. I started asking for help to allow me to rest, to make it through the night, to grant me peace and assist me in falling asleep.

I was terrified to fall asleep due to the fear that I might not wake up. The pain was that bad. I pleaded for someone, anyone, to help me in my time of need.

Within minutes I felt a figure beside me, no gender, no face, but just a presence. I could feel arms motioning around my body and my whole left side was warm and almost tingling with energy. I saw blue flickers of light while this was going on. Whoever this was brougt me an immense amount of peace. I heard a voice that said "you are not alone." Before I knew it I was asleep and this morning I woke up feeling so clear and more like myself than I have in months. I remembered to say thank you just before I dozed off.

Could this have been the work of any particular angel? Or more so a spirit guide coming to my aid?

This has happened to me, too. I agree, the sleep is so peaceful. You can feel the protective arms around you.
