Are my reasons for loving the Buddhist religion insufficient for your personal standards?

Like I have previously stated (on many occasions now) your experiences and mine are totally different and I can only base my perceptions, observations and experiences upon my personal experiences ONLY and not yours...but we have had this same discussion a few times now, haven't we?

I cannot speak for you or anybody else when it comes to my personal likes, dislikes, reasons, preferences etc, and I have acknowledged that differences of opinion exist based upon all this.

So are you here to tell Miss H. What it is that YOU love about Buddhism? or are you only here to say that my beliefs about Buddhism are all wrong and I have no grounds for loving the religion?

Ball is in your court...so, why do you love Buddhism? or don't you and just seek to derail this nice thread here with your contrariness?

All the above fake news is down to Culture not Buddhism.

I have a multitude of reasons for loving Buddhism, the most important is that it makes common sense...

Others also normally say that for their own religion.

I have several relatives that are monks and one is also a nun.

Such devotion........

My daughter got a check yesterday from a monk. He, like some other
monks, appreciated her decision to teach English in one of the Temples.

My daughter and wife are looking forward to when I will be a monk for a period of time.

Why did you post in this thread then? I am still waiting to read why it is that you love Buddhism.

However, we agree to disagree on basically everything, so why are you still talking to me and vice versa?

Perhaps you wish to always have the last word by seeking to provide every "exception to the rule" you can possibly come up with? Because if you are trying to teach me anything here, I ain't learning it...so why not give up on me already? You wouldn't be the first or the last.

We agree to disagree as you always say.

Why not leave it at that?
