conquered by fear!

hey guys.. i read about astral projection yesterday and being a great enthusiastic about spirituality and answer seeker,i ACTUALLY TRIED TO ASTRAL PROJECT.! at 2 am,while i was lying on my bed after reading almost all the online articles that i could about astral projecting,i took a few deep breaths and concentrated on my ceiling without expecting any positive results.. not even a minute later,i could feel my body vibrate as if there was a slight earthquake.!! and then i felt my energy body or inner aura becoming warmer..and i felt like i was being lifted up from my physical body to my inner aura..just a little bit.. i felt like my physical body and my soul were now separated.. that time,i got so freaked out.! honestly,i didnt have the guts to do it.. then i told myself that iam not going to astral project..!! and went to sleep.. then in the morning when i woke up,i knew that i had astral projected while i was asleep as i had this great feeling..! and i was really thirsty as well... that's my experience... i dont know when i will try it again.. thank you for taking the patience to read the whole thing.. any advices ??

Try not to be afraid. Go with the sensations. By that I mean just stay relaxed. Do not be afraid. If you succeed in doing that you will have a lot of fun. You will want to do it again and again.

yes.. i will... but how do you return to your physical body? will it cause any problem if we leave our physical body for a long time?

Your astral experience sounds quite wonderful, even the fearful part, as you were quite brave to even attempt it in the first place. Astralsuzy gave you very wise advice! Also, you need not worry about returning, that happens instantly when you become concerned about the body and really want to "return." I've answered your private message question about AP with some guidelines about it, and afterwards I posted those guidelines in this forum, adding a couple more, and making a few changes in wording.

You can find it in the thread titled "Some Guidelines About Astral Projection." I am very happy for you in this exploration, my friend! Continue to be brave, as you are doing very well. (Also, keeping a dream/astral projection journal is a very good idea.)
