How to get Back into the Vortex

I've only been doing this LoA for a few days and have been doing fairly well with things to be grateful for and definitely feeling the positivity. However last night I had a minor flare up of a physical ailment which caused a lot of discomfort and I fell out of the vortex / positive mode. I've felt really low all day, even though I'm not in any discomfort now. EVen though I've gone through loads of things to be grateful and thankful for, I just can't shake this depression and get back into the vortex.

Any suggestions?

Have you got the book "Ask and It Is Given''?
Go to the chapter where there is the Emotional List or whatever it is called...
It explains how to move up the emotional scale...very practically.
Like you can't get to Bliss from Depression....but you can get to Anger from Depression..which is moving up the scale.
Good luck with this, hang in there, it takes practice.

I have ordered a book by Michael Losier on LoA, so I may well get the one you mentioned as well. I really don't want to give up on this. I'm listening to many videos too and I think the problem is that this health issue I have is one I've been trying to heal/solve for ten years (the list of things I've tried is massive). So the desire to overcome it is immense. And of course when it flares my mind spurns out the usual dialogue. It's unfortunate really that I haven't read and listened to as much of this and practised it as I would have liked (only discovered it at the weekend), before the big one really hit!

Thank you for the link. I am feeling a little better today, at least I've realised that the flare up isn't what the issue is. As ever, very complicated. However, I've also ordered the book 'Ask and it is Given.' Thank you.
