The beauty of meditation

Nowadays, when I meditate, I often enter in this state that it's very similar with a state of sleep, then, when the divine decides that it's time for me to stop, I wake up, just like you wake up in the morning, and I wonder, where have I been, 3 hours, how's that possible, one moment I was here, then now..? I was here and not here, my awareness was here in all this time and it was not here.

It's like time travel while still flowing within the "normal" time.

This is very refreshing and relaxing, but it makes you feel that there's an empty "hole" in space-time created by your presence/non-presence, your mind is not able to understand how can you be here and not be here at the same time.

That we know how to meditate is a blessing, because I went through almost 30-years of my life not even knowing that such a thing existed, and it was with me all the time. I have now been doing meditation for more than 40-years and it is my constant companion.

We can learn a great deal from our body’s sleep state. Yes, I experience that same thing in mediation as well. Sometimes in meditation the silence just comes in full force and takes me deep into it. Gradually feeling a thin veil of awakening while in that deep presence of awesome absence; the incredible feeling is unmatched.

I find when I wake up from a nap is a great time to meditate, before my mind kicks in and the chatter begins. As soon as I awaken from sleeping over night I go into my meditation practice. I love meditation, it is literally my lifesaver. It is like travel to a timeless space-less place.

The beautiful thing for me is to stay with that fine, quiet, meditation experience all through my waking hours, and I also find that experience of meditation when my body is asleep. To be wide awake while your body sleeps is incredible, and know that your body is sleeping. To me meditation is a precious gift.

God, the source of life, seeks me much more than I could ever seek it. I am the fish, God is the fisherman, the hook of inspiration is within me, and I am being reeled in.

Wise words, my friend.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
