I am kept
Under the safety of your
Strong but gentle wings
As mother eagle flys above...
Soaring high through the sky to keep
A watchful eye over
Us.
She keeps guard over our hearts -
She cries out to warn us - when we need to
Take cover from our enemies...
Who sneak around under the cover of darkness
And try to capture and control love.
Mother eagle speaks to us -
Comforting us with her blessings - and
Protecting us with her wisdom.
She is strong and brave - and
Dedicated to us...
The one's who she loves...
With her fearless heart.

I know you write with another fixe in mind, yet you've described me in one of my shapes, perfectly - and that makes me feel like your one of my little ones <3
I've got you, should you ever need it!, just thought I'd let you know.
Beautiful poem, I'm so humbled. I'm going through old poems at random, and sure am getting my heartful of love and inspiration here... <3

Ohhh - I must get back to writing again... I have forgotten the heart of my voice.
I stopped for so long and I always found the community in this sub section so warm and nurturing.
