How do you want to be approached?

If someone were to come to you and want to engage you on the subject of spirituality, they have passion and authenticity and a few insights they want to share, how would you prefer to be approached? Should they come as a teacher, a mentor, a peer, a student, a friend, a human, a spirit, a burning bush, a psychic presence, a blinking light, wrapped in mystery, wrapped in light-hearted humor, as serious as a heart attack, a thief in the night, a zen master, a guru?

How do you prefer to be approached?

Edit: and How do you prefer not to be approached?

The way they approached me wouldn't matter. Any approach is fine.

I would like them to come to me as they are ... free from fear hopefully, but if not well we can deal with that as and when lol

I prefer not to be approached abusively ...

If I have a preference for the way I am approached its.....'with respect'.

So what does that mean? Hmmm. I will put it this way. I would prefer someone to approach me with a somewhat integrated understanding that all paths are valid. I prefer a degree of non-judgment in the way that I am approached. It doesnt always pan out like that of course but then maybe we reap what we sew.

Open minded and with respect. They don't have to believe in what I believe in, but only to honor that I am different :)

hopefully, it would be a respectful, open-minded, not trying to change anything, just engaging with each other approach.

Burning bush works for me - but in the winter when I'd appreciate it more.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Wrapped in light-hearted humor- I can't stand that.
