Ah thanks Human suffering is human suffering, that's how I see it. I visited New York prior to the attacks and have a lovely photo of the original Manhattan skyline that I treasure (taken from the boat!) so there's a personal element too I guess.

A terrible, terrible thing. Heartbreaking. Incredible. Too much suffering to contemplate.
All those dead and blown to bits, men, women and children. For oil.
I pray for world peace.

I have written a small tribute over in my potting shed but wanted to add my name to this remembrance .

One of the most touching, most memorable parts (for me at least) was seeing a whole nation unite and pull together.
God Bless America!
(and every other nation, but today belongs to the USA)

My prayers go out to the victims and their loved ones but, all what we see turns out an illusion, like a movie projected on a screen, if we are not able to transnmute the sorrow from this tragedy into a personal and collective spiritual learning.
I kindly invite to post your thoughts (if you have not done yet) in the thread The spiritual learning behind 9/11: http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=22101
Much blessings,
love and light
to you all,
TISS
