Doesn't look altered to me either.
I've read many accounts where people have seen spirits leaving the bodies
of those who've been killed in accidents.
It's quite chilling.

It doesn't look photo shopped to me either, looks to me to be an Angel
Thinking about it, I feel it would be rather poor taste if some one did this to a photo at such a tragic
moment, just for publicity
