Are physcic abilities more like creative abilities?
I have always wondered...
How can one be so sure that clairvoyance isn't the act of creating?
Lets assume you see a future event and you are certain of an outcome, what evidence is there to suggest that all you are doing is simply viewing a definite future outcome and not one created by conscious interaction?
In simple terms.. Is the act of seeing future events truly clairvoyent or is clairvoyance actually the act of having a solid belief in an future event, thus creating its existence in the universe?
Quantum physics already proves that conscious interaction with the universe changes the way things exist, so such a proposal would be very plausible.

Hello Humanb,
I can think of one example that may point to the belief that psychic abilities is not caused by an act of creation from a person's own manifestation. Many times you can see scenes from the future that totally take you by surprise. I believe you cannot surprise yourself with your own thinking, so that would mean that these are two separate phenomena.
Another example is that you can also see psychically into the past (with the same psychic ability) which has already happened so there is no possibility to affect what you see in the past.
Just a few thoughts that came to me after reading your post.
