Milk: Raw, Almond, Hemp, Soy, Rice, etc.

Thought I'd start a thread on the various 'milk' types that are out there. If I were to drink cow's milk - definitely raw and only raw. I tried it recently and it was absolutely delicious and it made me feel much better.

Out of the plant types of milk - my first preference would go to Hemp milk and secondly Almond milk.

I make almond milk with 1 cup of soaked almonds and 5 cups of filtered water and hazelnut milk with 1 cup of soaked hazelnuts, dates, raw cacao powder and a little splash of vanilla and 5 cups of filtered water. I dehydrate the nut pulp to make flour and make raw cakes with it. YUMMO!

I love raw cows milk too and get some every week from the raw organic shop.

Oh wow - I never tried making my own almond milk (or any type of nut milk for that matter). That's pretty cool.

Here in the U.S. some states you can't buy raw milk at all, but at least here in Pennsylvania there is still some sanity left and one can purchase it.
