More proof of animal intelligence (if you need it)
Chickens are regarded by many as just a food source and not deserving any respect as sentient, intelligent beings. I just came across this amusing but also instructive video about chickens who can do tricks:

Speaking of smart chickens, I watch America's Got Talent.
I was surprised someone brought a chicken on stage and it had a little piano where it pecked out a song. The judges and audience liked it so much that the chicken goes to round two. The owners said they had other chickens that played different instruments so I'd like to see that.
A chicken band, who would've thought?

Thank you LPC.
As for my signature, I take it to mean that crystals and trees help us in more ways than one. For instance, we can communicate with crystals, rocks and trees which are examples of learning from the earth. As for learning from birds, fish and land animals is something I haven't tried. By communication, it can come in various forms such as feeling energy, receiving images, impressions and/or words.
I believe communication is possible because everything has a spirit in it which means there's a type of intelligence involved. It's this intelligence which I believe we connect to for healing purposes and whatever else we may need to know.

That is fascinating and well worth watching. Thank you LPC!
It just goes to show we mustn't underestimate any creature. It's also interesting that the chicken can identify colours, which shows that we don't know all there is to know about animals' colour vision either.
The more we learn about animals and their awareness, senses, and intelligence, the harder it must be -surely -to make any excuses for exploiting them, or confining them/torturing them in food-production situations...
