Your path sounds so familiar. I have had a rough life with narcist people and I suffered recently big health problems about 15 years, until I decided to kick out all the negative people from my life. After that my happines and believe to myself raised and I wanted to encounter those scary ghosts (I had seen/feel/heard them whole my life randomly) in meditation, where I experienced spiritual enlightment. After that I understood a lot about this and previous lifes and I was ready to recover. Now my health is already very good and I can feel the love power inside the chest daily. If you haven't already read this topic '->spirituality&beliefs->healing->i feel everyone's pain..., there could be advices for you to raise your protection levels against negative people and feel stronger.

So, a few days ago I was meditating and went to my special place to give my cat a cuddle who died in February this year as I tend to do frequently and I also wanted to give a cuddle to my mum's dog who died a day ago. Whilst there I also asked for a sign that I have guidance and could I please be sent a Robin.

Later that evening I sat outside with my dog throwing his toy up and down the back garden and a cat appears on the fence out of nowhere. It decided not to come in because although my dog lived with my cat for 5 years he still goes nuts at other cats. Weirdly, my split second reaction was, 'oh you sent me a cat instead'. The reason I thought that was because in all the time I've lived in this house no cat has ever been seen in the back garden or on the fence by me. I've seen them on the odd occasion out the front but never out the back.

The day after whilst in the kitchen a Robin appeared on the fence just outside the window and sat there bobbing up and down for ages before flying off. We do get a lot of birds in the back garden but not Robins which is why I asked for a Robin.

This afternoon during meditation a flock of very small dark birds flew away from me outwardly in the most synchronised pattern I've ever seen but it was very brief. That's never happened before but it was a nice feeling.

I guess I've got my answer!

Its weird dream jo because when he died I didn't see anything or sense him which upset me more. My daughter was the one seeing and feeling things about him. I still don't sense him even now, I just make sure I go to him to cuddle him at some point when I meditate

I have also asked bird proofs about three weeks ago. I asked three crows to appear to front of me suddenly. A little later I saw three crows about 5meters from me on the ground when I come from the car.

My mum has seen our passed away dog, when it came to see my mum next to the her bed.

1. What if one does not believe in spirit guides? In the sense that most spiritual encounters one has had have not been as benign as this sounds?
2. What if one realizes angels for what they are, inhuman and does not necessarily believe them to be as beings of ultimate good and love and light as mass media would have one believe?
3. More importantly what if one simply does not need this type of assistance, is there even a choice? What if one chooses not to be assisted by a guide?

1. You have a spirit guide that you come with when you are born so this has got nothing to do with whether you believe in spirit guides or not. What will happen is if you don't believe in spirit guides you won't make contact with him or her and you will live your life believing that you do not have a spirit guide.

2. It is true that human beings look at angels with rose-coloured glasses but we each have Guardian Angel that comes with us at birth. There are other angels that assist us throughout our lives again it is independent of our beliefs.

3. The guides that we have were chosen before we were born with our own permission and we need their guidance even though we do not remember it.

4. Yes you can put your faith in yourself (higher self) and in God, but that will not stop your spirit guide(s) and angels from helping you.
