I dream so deep and true
of places yet to visit
of places I know are few
Some rare and lovely
and beautiful
because they hold a place in me
In my heart one with dreaming
I bring them alive to see
That the daydreamer forgotten
once scorned and told to be
focused on the present
the way this reality
said I had to be and learn
the only way they knew
But here I am the daydreamer
creating, learning too
I love my daydreamer
I love the dreamer I am
no one can take my dreamer
It is one in me for my plan.
As I awaken all the dreams in me
In day or night I see
that all that I once longed for
is arriving so I can be
