So delighted Joe Mc and thanks for bringing the musical aspect into Zooming
I’m sure there is great, great deal more to say about music and meditation, music and zooming and also the care one needs to take when zooming in brainwave-states (especially theta) and with the stream of emotional energies.
I listen to a particular CD most mornings. It is a Theta range flute music but without headphones it becomes a slow ambient Alpha cruise and helps me to relax, settle the mind and just rest in a simple state of being.
Slightly detached and a little bit dreamlike, yet “with it” (one hopes anyways ) with the world.
From Alpha it is also easier then to Zoom into Beta or Theta.

After a couple of glasses of red vine - Zooming into pain now.
The pain and dysfunctionality of “half-breeds”, the contradictionary inner dilemma of being both indigenous and white, disconnected both ways.
It is not just conceptual differences of thought, it becomes a personal struggle.
The most beautiful – realized beings … seen (projected) by Westerners as a “no value dumb blacks”.
Very painful.
It can turn your heart to hatred.
Been there – done that.
But sheesh, one just has to love it/them/yourself too – give compassion to all that suffering within your heart.

Never taken heroin, so I don’t really know what it is like to get high on it.
But that song took me back to what “happened”. So thanks Joe Mc.

I am aware of that song and I always thought it was about a guy who fell in love and tried to describe how it felt.
Much like Dean Martin when he sings "That's Amore".
Whether he was speaking about a girl or a glass of vino is debatable.

What a weary journey it can be sometimes and a painful one and sad of course. That inner child is above the station though but the world demands it's pound of flesh sometimes and is such an arrogant piece of s hit in it's own sense of righteousness. It's lense is rather myopic in its own appraisal of its credibility, and it's sense of importance is sickening..how am i sounding
Hey really nice tracks thanks for sharing them. That song is very nice, simple straight on and soulful. I've got a couple I would like to share with you. The first one is the pits but you know, I just know what its about, hope you can relate to that level of wastedness
" My sense of humanity has gone down the drain, behind every beautiful thing
there's been some kind of pain."

Surely it is the greatest hymn i've ever heard, it surely is.
And of relating to reindeers and the deep shamanic things that we have buried and embedded in the cold refracted reflections of steel buildings and square corporations ..im really warming up lol. Hey just a little ditty from lapland. keep it quiet but they recon its the home of Santa Claus

You are zooming just fine though Moondance might be scratching his head, wondering what is ‘happen-ing’ to his thread.

That IS the pits and I can relate to certain levels of wastedness, but what is that one about?

Yeah, tell me about it!
I’ve got a song for the occasion, but it is a bit too heavy and I don’t want to go there since: “I've still got the scars that the sun didn't let me heal”.
And it is good to stop the blame-game and find peace within one’s heart again.
Perhaps it is a poor Forest Saami wishing he was more important Reindeer Herder Saami, and thus had more “Indigenous Status”. You know how some indigenous folk are more indigenous than others.

Indeed probably speaking about both but perhaps ironically in the end, neither girl nor wine satiated his appetite, and hence we were left with more and more of his songs, happily or sadly as the case may be.

Not advocating anybody to have a stroke here, but still, Jill recounting her story of zooming from left to right hemisphere is quite interesting:

In "Killer Whale and Crocodile" carvers from two of the world's great carving traditions come together.
A First Nations carver from Canada travels into the jungles of Papua New Guinea and a New Guinea carver travels to urban Canada.
