Recurring UTIs!

For the past year and a half I have had trouble with urinary tract infections. I got one, and every since then it's been off and on. Even when I don't yet have one, I usually feel like I am fighting one. When I don't drink enough water, and then go to the bathroom, I feel like I want to crawl out of my own skin for a long time afterwards, and it's only after I get some water back into my system that I feel alright again.

I'm getting fed up with going to the doctor and getting the same two medications to get rid of it when it keeps coming back.

Anyone have any idea as to what is causing these and how I can get rid of them and keep from getting them?

There are natural ways of preventing recurrence of these kinds of infections, windchaser.

- Make sure you always drink enough water
- Drink cranberry juice every day. It can be diluted in water, 1/4 water to 3/4 juice, if you like, if you drink it consistently.
- Go to a health food store and find an herbal and/or nutritional supplement for urinary tract/bladder support.
- Make sure it's not a coming from vaginal infection, which can be treated with douches of a little tea oil in warm water.
- Best treatment: Take colloidal silver solution, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon in a little water, 3 times a day for 3 weeks.

- Look into any ongoing fears you may be carrying from the past, as fear energy often gets trapped in that area, and find ways to heal and release it.

good luck and blessings

Neuropathy of the bladder affects diabetics and causes recurring UTIs. The range of UTIs is quiet extensive and they get tolerant to certain antibiotics over time. Only one type of antibiotic works with my wife who has diabetic neuropathy and , well there is another but thats IV and requires hospitalization., anyhoo what the Doctor did for my wife is hammer the UTI with a course of the One antibiotic and then lowered the One antibiotic down to a very minimal prophylactic dose that she has remained on.

The thing with UTIs if that you can get them again and again and because a process of elimination and identification is required through urine sample microbiological testing The docs first impulse is to hit it with a broad spectrum antibiotic that may do the job effectively or indeed has a temporary effect on the UTI.

Ultimately , Its a pain , but it does take time to find the right tool for the job.

Anyway, heres an informative read on the subject.

btw... Silver is a natural antibiotic that works against every known bacteria, plus some yeasts, fungi and viruses.

After 3 weeks if you feel you need another course with it, wait 10 days for it to clear out of the body and start again. (Silver has no known side effects except when there is an allergy or when taken in excess.)

This might be an option for your wife also, Neville, as it is more benign than most commercial antibiotics.

Silver is also a heavy metal and extremely toxic and very dangerous if used incorrectly, so caution is advised if you are going to go down that route.

Yep... the caution is, take a 1/2 to 1 teaspoon dose no more than 3 times a day, 3 weeks at a time, with a 10 day break if continuing with it.

You should not be prescribing this, what if the person has allergic reaction or as Neville says ......

Hello

Like with all things that one can get over the counter do the research on it. Find out the pros and cons to using such things. Silver while the side effect are rare it does have them. I am allergic to even wearing it. I do not mean the skin discolourations either I mean a full blown reaction to it. Like all things we can have that one time deadly reaction to it.

I almost died for Sulfa and Cloves once. Both natural substances but to me deadly in even the smallest of doses. One toothpick of cloves in meat could kill me.

I would too watch the amount of Cranberry juice one intakes as with any fruit juice there are sugars to take into considerations and over saturation of the tissues if there are unirnary issues.

Dream Angel... Informed suggestions are not prescriptions.

As Lynn said, by adulthood people generally know if they have a reaction to silver and so stay away from it.
