I was wondering if anyone else made their own custom crystal bead strands. I like to work with the bead form of the stone because it takes up less space in my pocket and is far more convenient for me. I can also change the stones around on the string if need be.
Another reason why I like to use the bead form, is that, when I've ordered beads - I would always get other helpful types of that stone on the strand. So - it saves me money in the long run.
On my current strand, I also have a Finnish coin and an Imperial German coin too - which, I think is a fun way of keeping touch with the countries I call 'home'. It's just nice having the flexibility with doing bead strands - and being able to put other items on the strand.

Blue Kyanite and Green Kyanite
Black Tourmaline, Watermelon Tourmaline, Gold Tourmaline, Green Tourmaline, Red Tourmaline
Labradorite/Spectrolite (National Stone of Finland)
Black Andradite Garnet
(Stones I carry:
Aegirine and
Rose Quartz -tumbled)
Edit to add: My Aegirine has small pieces of
Natrolite on it too.
