That is an awesome and very loving INTERVENTION. :)

Love intervenes, even when the person being intervened upon throws a childish tantrum in response.

You can take the knife away from the child without humiliating him.

How do you approach the guy without humiliating him?

Humiliation will not help anyone on this planet.

Superwoman would rather give a serious answer.

(btw I am not sure that showing him the big picture at a glance is the right approach, he may have an heart attack)

It is not your intention to be humiliating. Any negative emotion generated is stemming from the other person's immaturity and needing to mature. Not being confronting of other's immaturity is an implicit acceptance and approval of it. This is called "enabling". You are also doing more harm to the other person by letting them continue to indulge in immature behavior. Damaging the environment also damages the soul by perpetuating abuse.

Greetings..

Just pick up the litter and deposit it in the nearest trash bin.. it's an opportunity for you to love the planet, and.. an opportunity for the litterer to see that is a process for harmony with nature.. even if the litterer doesn't see you pick it up, the forest is cleaner..

Be well..

Top, Tzu, all

I throw away my trash in the forest.

We look at each other. You say: Don't worry dude you are more important.

I probably take it back with tears in my eyes.

Superwoman has probably also got a super sense of humour :) ... and he may not have a heart attack ... it could be life changing in ways he could only have imagined ...

3dnow, I liked your post :). Thinking through the lense of love shows a very different picture. Many of the replies to you here are thinking with the mind, which sees things very differently. Its a square peg/round hole thing. Not to say that the mind doesnt have its uses, but seeing through the eyes of love brings healing and beauty to the world. Brings the Divine a little closer. The mind is a rationalisaing machine that divides and categorises, it works with reflections of reality, empty form.

When I want to know the truth about something, I shift to the heart, allow love energies to expand and rise, then shift myself into this love. And then I see that consciousness and feelings are the important things - in a way, I dont even see anything else. The mind is still working, to degrees, trying to grasp and understand, but it is underneath love now, working to process what the heart has already seen.

This is reflected in Islamic culture - one reason Muslims touch their head to the ground when they pray, it because this is symbolising that the mind is beneath the heart.

So how would you deal with the scenario 3dnow has presented Rob.B?

A warm welcome to the community too by the way :)

Greetings..

Sometimes, it seems like we are so focused on symbology and symbolism that we forget how simple and efficient direct experience is..

I hear people speaking about acting from the 'heart', and i sense that this is symbolic, not a literal reference to the actual organ that pumps blood through the body, so.. i wonder about those that struggle with symbolism and its meaning, and about those that use the same symbol but for differing meanings, 'awkward'.. anyway, as long as the audience 'gets it', i suppose symbolism works..

Be well..
