Gemstones & sleeping well
I wonder what gemstones/crystals should we actually NOT lay out on the bedside table over night, so that they do not disturb our sleep?
Please share you experiences.

Hello
I agree everyone is different. For me I avoid strong energizing crystal by the bedside. Some crystals are "activators" so there to I avoid them.
Nice one's by bed are Amethyst and Rose Quartz. I would avoid also "Generator" shaped crystals.

I am not sure yet which to 'avoid'-but I sleep well with my Howlite in my hand.

that's is mean to be a calming and stabilizing stone so I would imagine that it would be ok. how does it work for you.
I was just thinking that I should not be feeling as tired as I have lately. Tomorrow morning when I lay down to sleep I will definitely burn some lavender, and adjust my medicine bag to contain stones that are meant to calm and relax rather than what I have been doing. Thank you for the tip SF.

I have suffered from insomnia for a while, Kaimi, and the howlite has helped me fall asleep MUCH quicker!

i put gems and pearls on my bedposts, a different one for each. i have slept with my head near two of them (i sleep in a queen bed with my husband)..
i will attest that it seems that the picture jasper really helped me to develop a sense of self, purpose and boundaries (which i think i read it is supposed to do this).
now i sleep with pink pearls by my head. it really seems to help me now. and now the picture jasper seems to not let me sleep as well, nor feel as refreshed. i think the pearls give me a more open, spacious, spiritual feeling, maybe?

I had to move my crystal family away from my bed as there were way too many different energies at night. Since then I've been sleeping much better.
I have recently got me some sparkling purple lepidolite as I hear it is very good for soothing sleep.

I moved my crystals and semi precious stones a bit farther away this morning. I woke up feeling more refreshed. I think I have to start rethinking my combination compositions.
Just an update.
Though ideas on that may augment the op's question.

I read that clear quartz should not be near while you're trying to sleep.
