try not to rely on any gurus. this is your life and spirit and body. you have wisdom within yourself. you are not any less that any guru. you are more powerful than you may realize. it sounds like your guru beliefs are certainly playing a part in blocking you. you are responsible for your power , if you give it away to a guru than it can make it more difficult for sure. try to believe and empower yourself and your connection with spirit.
