DO MORMONS RESONATE MORE WITH US?

The Mormon religion is an interesting religion that resonates in many ways with 'our' belief systems.

Please share your comments.

I resonated very well with a Mormon.
We did not talk religion, only of life and Spirit.
I do not really know Mormons.

I do however try and place relations on a human being level first and foremost.

I find the Book of Mormon hard to read because it was written in an old King James version of English, but the story is in of itself fascinating. If the book was written in modern day English, some might think somebody from our realm wrote it. The plot is fascinating.

Invitations like this always make me nervous...….:) Two reasons: First, they have a way of digressing into judgmental assaults on that which differs from us. Secondly, it hints at our desire to find affirmation for our beliefs when we should be secure in our own skin.....seeking neither to judge or be judged.

I would not worry.

If it digresses into another judgmental assault, it only shows there are areas we need to work on. I agree, personal assaults should not be allowed but that does happen at times. Most people do not realize that activity is a form of bullying, especially the name calling.

In the future, history might be revised putting this religion as a forerunner to our belief systems. It might be shown in the future that we are really not much different.
