True fact: Fifty Shades was originally a Twilight fanfiction, just had the names switched around. :)
That said, I still haven't read it. It's not something that really appeals to me, tbh. But hey to each their own!

Just heard about the first reviews of the film; which actually are pretty good. "Not enough sex" being the main criticism. But otherwise it is considered an intelligent film.

I hear so much criticism of Fifty Shades, and though I've never read it, I think we should allow people the freedom from scorn to read what they want.

I still haven't seen the movie or read the book. I was about to buy the book the other day at the store but I changed my mind and I didn't. This lady looked at me and told me that she liked it and it was worth getting it.
I think anyone should be able to read what ever they want, but not for a teenager.

I just had the change to watch the movie a couple of days ago and I'm not even going to bother reading the book. I honestly thought it would have been interesting but it wasn't. They are trying to make a good looking, sadistic guy look romantic. Be real, in real life it wouldn't be anything like that, they make it seem interesting cause the guy's rich and young, but in real life most likely would be an old dude asking a young girl to do that kind of stuff. Glad I didn't wasted my time reading the book. Not the kind of movie a teenager girl should be watching, it can send mix messages and at that age it can get confusing.
The way they ended the movie, what type of ending was that? Not good.

I do agree that people should have the freedom to read what they want. I recommend not to, unless you are completely bore. My friend like it, so everyone has a different opinion in regards to it.
