I do beieve that you can purchase various salves of Cherokee medicine.. as I mentioned earlier. But I have not tried then so cannot say if they are effective, last time I looked they do not claim to be effective for anything.. Maybe that is a requirement for the FDA...

I learned about Frog leaf last year (plantain) from an Anishinaabe Medicine person from Sandy Bay (northern prairie)

Good for insect bites and other skin problems.

such interesting information. The ancients had so much knowledge about the plants that they passed from generation to generation. Now, many of these plants are said to be "poisons", their seeds are no longer even available for purchase.
I have a desire to go to the woodlands and search for them, but I need a good book for identifying.

That is good, I am pleased it is still in print. The author spent a very long time researching and it is rare to fond such information passed on in print usually the learning was by word of mouth.

Um, I ran into a MicMaq, who claimed the smudge stick, was in fact, an ancient mud bath oreal, where one spreads clays on the body to draw toxins out.

Healing I wanna try.

From a medicine man in the NW, USA....I forget where.
Drink 2 cups a day, hot or cold of rosemary tea....if losing hair...
and also for fingernail strengthening.
(Actually one cup a day works wonders.)

Remember boil water, turn off...then steep the rosemary or it will be bitter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also, from the NW, USA....an herb, much like sassafras, to drink one ounce of tea daily, to get rid of
candida yeast.
Anyone have a clue how to get that?
Misplaced information I had 20 years...it's around somewhere.
Back then was $18 in a pint container.
I'm sure he passed his business on if he is gone.
It must still be around.
I believe 'fire' was in the name of the bark-type herb.
