Just a Place to Go

Hey.

It's just a place where someone can stop... It's like an old tree where people can just sit down for a while and cool off in the shade.

Often it's just time heals wounds and there is nothing to be done, just take a load off, rest the running feet, and soothe them in a passing cool stream.

The ease of just being here, for a while... the time will come when we need to take care of business... but for now it's ok to stop for a while and relax... and leave it behind for a bit.

It's a nice place to be.

What I particularly like about this thread is the peace and silence. I'm able to sit quietly, close my eyes and simply listen.

Hey Gem, I just noticed it now. I don't go to all the boards every day, not even a quarter of them. I don't even remember the places I posted at. Pathetic.

I adore trees, so yes, I would come and sit a spell. Sit quietly and listen to the birds singing their beautiful melodies and hear for and watch the chipmunks and squirrels playing. Feel the gentle breeze on my face and listen to it move through the leaves on the trees.

It is very nice, to simply be still and let all senses attune to my surroundings and I can ground myself as well.

I've been known to take off my trail running sneaks and cool my feet in the waters, lay back and let the sun shine on my face or cool under a shade tree.

Thanks for allowing this much needed stop over.
