Eating at restaurant after church

This morning I dreamt that I was still with my original family, parents and siblings, and we would all eat at this Chinese restaurant after church. The food was really good. The dream must have lasted several weeks because I can remember eating there a few times at least.

On the last visit I was seated looking southeast, whereas before I was seated looking southwest. Based on the street I was now sitting at the northwest end of the restaurant looking back at the entire room, whereas on the previous visits we had been at a table in the middle of the room. But on this last visit, even though the rice and vegetables were very good, we noticed that there was no meat. The waiter who was Latin American, told us that the "(forget name) group" was eating first, and that was why we had to wait a short while for the meat. The waiter noticed that I was not eating certain vegetables on my plate, so he scooped them up with a spoon and placed them back onto a buffet area, in which there was now enough of those particular vegetables for anyone who wanted them.

I got impatient to wait to be served the meat, and so I stood up to leave and left the restaurant. Even though by that point the first group were all leaving and walking to their cars. The people of this first group were all of Israel descent.

But I began walking down that road away from the restaurant. The road goes in a perfect southeastern direction. The restaurant was located about a mile from my birth home, west by southwest from the house.

Possibly. But I wonder why I was dreaming about my past self, when I was younger.

Perhaps unresolved issues from that time period of your life or something significant happened in the family that your conscious doesn't remember, but your subconscious does.
