We are sharing what Buddhism is not just the parts we believe in ad ignore the rest.

I am not even saying it is worship.

More pointing out the power of a bodhisattva and how a Buddha who is known by all the names such as Brahma or reality is what is thought of from a Christian view as a God.

For example what are Buddha realms?

It is not a vital part of the mantra because as I have explained to you, it means different things to different people/different schools, ok...
Hope this help.

Hope this helps, but there are many more interpretations as I said.

Same meaning one is just broken down more . They both still acknowledge Chenrezig.

' The most common meaning offered for the mantra is usually something like “Behold! The jewel in the lotus!” or “Praise to the jewel in the lotus.” But it is almost impossible to give one exact meaning for “om mani padme hum,” since it has been interpreted in many ways '

Did you notice the words ' since it has been interpreted in many ways '

I didn't say it DIDN'T acknowledge Chenrezig a deity in Tibetan Buddhism.....

The point being there are various interpretations of the meanings of the words but it is universally accepted it is a means of connecting to a Divine being for assistance.

You would think that would be a key point to inform someone of.

My experience is that all these different paths are man made and that the underlying drive is to realign with our maker.
God walks with us on whatever path we take because that which is good and true and the very source of love wants to realign with us. It wants to relate to us, live thru us, love us.

The power of a lineage is that it comes from the Divine.

What is God?
Quote:
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:4-7 KJV)
Now where is Heaven?

Quote:
Luke 17: 20-21
20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Buddhism is one of the paths that helps one look within to realize the light so that we can realize the Kingdom of Heaven. In Buddhism what is thought of as God in Christianity you could call a Buddha. We are all of the same essence, arise from emptiness but are unique and all have the same potential to realize the light.

The bible talks about the same thing here.

Quote:
Romans 8:6-17
6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.*7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.*8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.*9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.*10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.*12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.*13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.*14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.*15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.*16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

In Hindu terms this would be like we can become One like Siva.

In Taoist terms this is the One that emerged from the Dao.

To have such realization one needs help from the Divine. That is what a Buddha is and why lineages from such beings are so important and effective.

For instance, the mantra mentioned earlier helps one to connect to a Divine being aka Chenrezig. This would be much like the above saying "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:4-7 KJV)"

That connection helps us walk in the light and the deeper the realization the more fellowship we have with another and that light/connection will "cleanseth us from all sin" or help remove obstructions.

Quote:
Whether happy or sad, if we take the "mani" as our refuge, Chenrezig will never forsake us, spontaneous devotion will arise in our minds and the Great Vehicle will effortlessly be realized."
