All pedantic, arrogant rhetoric aside, I could have taught her more than what she already knew which was zilch. It's not like she'd be caught dead on a forum like this anyway.

I just learned to love my mother for who she is/was it .taught me a valuable lesson in how much I loved those aspects of myself that thought they knew better or that it was my job to change her.. Worked a treat being that model. We found common ground and deeper connection.
