energy of a physical location

A couple things prompted me to think about the energies of a physical location. I am not very sensitive to this, but I think when the energy is very intense, I can feel a bit of it.

For example, the separation wall in Palestine holds a lot of negative emotions (obviously), and I can feel them; the holy places in Old Jerusalem don't hold love and light, but some dense energies, even though commercialism and tourism have watered down the conflicts there.

My question, where in the world do you think has the highest energetic vibration; and where has the lowest?

Thanks.

Wanchain - I don't know where the highest vibrational area is on earth, but it would surely be a place where a lot of love and peace are felt. The lowest vibrational place would likely be where an enormous amount of people have lost their lives violently such as war fields or the Holocaust location.

I very much believe that physical locations hold energy. I used to live in a very old house for 17 years. The house had countless paranormal activities and I wasn't the only person sensitive to these events, but every member of my household including the dog.

Wanchain, I know a lot of people say it, but in my experience of energy, higher and lower vibrations don't equate to positive emotion (higher) and negative emotion (lower). But I can relate to your question about emotional energies of a place.

I've moved house a lot and pick up on the energies left in buildings, but also feel energies in other places. there are places up on the high moors, and hills of Britain, that I've found a very special silence. I feel wonderful energies by the ocean and in the woods too, but the quiet that is on the hills is uniquely pure.

So that got me wondering if perhaps the most pleasurable energies are in places that humans haven't inhabited. Or is it that people have visited the hills with a love for them and an energised body - as these are not hills that have ever been farmed with anything other than roaming animals.

Then I got to asking myself - well don't humans love in lots of places? And I realised that human love often at its height in places where sorrow is present. It is in the harshest times that genuine love shines through in human beings. So maybe, in places of sorrow, if we listen carefully, we will feel the love too.

I call it: having a third world experience in a first world country, or a first world experience in a third world country.

Ivy,

Interesting that higher or lower vibrations don't equate to positiver or negative emotions. Then is it positive or negative thoughts?

You are attracted to a certain energy, I would say. Not necessarily higher or lower vibrations, but a specific frequency.

Check out Becker-Hagens - http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ma...otierra_12.htm
at least for a start. It depends on what you're looking for, the energies left behind because of people are very different to earth energies. Old buildings/city areas tend to 'store' the energies of the people that lived there and often whole cities can feel different to one another. Near us there is a disused mental asylum and it has very dense energies, there are also areas of the town where there are really old buildings and they have strange energies. There is an old church with graves that date back to the 1600s and it's actually very peaceful. We also have a stone circle close by and its energies change with the seasons, but then I'd expect that considering, its energies were very strong on the Solstice.

Thanks for the link ~

I was thinking along the lines of leylines and earth chakras, not necessarily what's within a building. But you gave me some good ideas.

You're welcome. Becker-Hagens is about as good as it gets in that respect and they use the Platonic Solids, other than that there isn't much really. Each of the points is the equivalent of an earth chakra (if there is such a thing) and the points send out leylines, and usually on the lines there are sacred sites, churches and the like. The major European gird line starts in Scotland and comes out in the south of France, a place called Renne le Chateau. Renne was where the Catholic church wiped out the Cathars. They also map out a grid of sacred sites and the like across the globe and that makes me wonder if there's something else haappening.
