Your funeral music

Everyone makes a list of music for weddings but how about your funeral ? What would you choose for that ?

My choice of any six from :-

Highway to Hell - AC/DC
Killed by Death - Motorhead
Don't fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
Heaven and Hell - Black Sabbath
Race with the Devil - Girls School
Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden
Angels of Death - Hawkwind
To Hell and Back - Venom
Death Trip - Iggy Pop
Broken Down Angel - Nazareth
Send Me an Angel - Scorpions
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zep.
Knocking on Heaven's Door - Guns & Roses.

A little bit of a morbid topic but i have always said 'Another One Bites the Dust' Queen. I am hoping though that my boyfriend would come up with something that would show who i was and that made people think of me :)

Does ANYONE go to a funeral and actually listen to the music playing? lol

But if I must answer, it's going to be the formal music for a funeral.

Hello

YES I do. Too I can tell ye that the LOVed on there that the service is for does as well. We may not hear it on a fully conscious level but if there was NO music at all we would make note of that consiously.

Music sooths the mind on many a level

I think that sometimes the music is remembered. My dad liked Elvis and two of his gospel songs were sang by the family.
