What are your favorite instruments?

I am probably an exception here, but the two instruments I love to play are fife and drum. All sorts of flutes are honey to my ears; tin flute is probably the sweetest. I can play it just well enough to annoy anyone nearby. I have a small collection of flutes. Drums always make my feet start marching; at my desk I always have a small native indian style snare drum hanging over me (and I use it too at times) and I played a bass drum for a while in a marching band.

In addition to those, I love the tune of a well played fiddle and of all things, the bagpipe. I can't play either unfortunately.

I love the sounds of the drums. All types. Very powerful and speaks to my soul.

I also love sound of the flute, very common in traditional Cuban/Spanish music. SO light and cheery, very romantic and the sound is very young in spirit.

I love the guitar (classical, which I'm currently learning to play, but also electrical \m/), the harp (oh, I'd like to learn this as well...) and as for a third... it must be the drums, cause I love the vibration, the rythm... ^^

Piano, hands down. Any type of chimes/bells are a close second tho. The combination of the two never fails to send chills all over my body

Cello - beautiful, deep and haunting. I also love Cello/Violin/Piano combinations.

Well, since I picked cello, oboe, bassoon and piano to play...those.
French horn, had one....learned a little then sold it.
