Watched Arrival last night and although the soundtrack is minimalized (the sound editing got the Academy Award) it was still very good.
I like that sort of thing - tight loops and heavy sound processing.

Really adore this one The Village - Main Theme Thought the movie to be amazing watching experience.
This one I found as well hauntingly beautiful, but the movie did not work for me sadly. Lady in The Water |

'Oh Brother Where art thou' is probably one of my faves.
'The Good The Bad and The Ugly' is a classic.
One which is a bit old and obscure, but I consider a work of genius, is the orignal 'My Fair Lady' soundtrack, with Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn. The song 'I'm Just an Ordinary Man' is hilarious.
The original 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' movie soundtrack is awesome. My favorite is 'I'm Going Home'.
A fantastic CD is the 'Casablanca' soundtrack, not only because it has the songs, but because it actually has a lot of the iconic dialog tracks that have made that movie so famous.
One I haven't seen here, but is absolutely essential, is the 'Bladerunner' soundtrack. My favorite is 'Love Theme'. Lotta good times with that one playing.  |
