Drawing Auras

Hey everyone :)

I was wondering, has anybody ever tried to draw auras/energies/anything else "spiritual" or "paranormal"? They're really beautiful, and a part of our world, so why not depicture them like we do with other "physical" things?

I am currently trying to draw/paint energies, but they're moving and changing so fast, I don't have anybody to model for me and I do not feel very comfortable with anything other than a normal grey pencil, so it's pretty hard...

Well, do you know if anybody else has tried this before?

Yes, love too. I have a hard time capturing the light and movement though. :P

Then okay, so there's parts too, like when it does that invert/self-create thing, like a quantum trapezoid or whatever, how do I do a 2-d drawing of that? The only thing I know to do is slice up the image, take it from it's compressed form and stretch it out like an accordion...lay it out, but it doesn't ever come close. Arg!

How do you deal?

Check out images online. Artists do a very good job illustrating aura images with computer technology.
