Madicininal fungi better known as Chaga is being researched outside the United States. The United States follows traditional medicines and well traveled paths.

No I have never eaten any medicinal fungi. Years ago I knew a man who had some Kombucha which I seem to remember, he kept in a jar (treated in a certain kind of way -I have forgotten now) He made tea from this fungus, and vowed it cured just about everything and kept him strong....
I was invited to drink some, but I didn't want to, as it looked....well just too gross for my liking! A bit too much like the "Quatermass Experiment". I suppose if I'd had Cancer, I would have tried it.

But weirdly a few years later I met him again, and he had so many different ailments for a man only in late middle age
