Born with only one kidney

Exactly a year ago I did a ultra sound scanning for my irregular periods which came out all fine along with a big other news that scared me to death. I got to to know that my right kidney is only 3.8cm in size. They were asking me whther I have urine infection so often and I said no. She said the sa=can doesn't show your right kidney much bla bla I thought I am gonna die soon, I was sending text messages to my friends saying how much I love them. so dramatic! lol But as time went on I found out that 2 of my friends have the same condition. One of them is a birth twin to me so that made us realize how connected we are. So to answer your question. You are fine. So many people are born with these conditions and they are simply un aware of it. However I don't drink alcohol , and those 2 friends of mine avoid alcohol and soda too. One of them avoids eating fruits but I don't think it is much of a big problem.Be happy , don't worry too much.
