* Jupiter! *
I missed the eclipse because of weather but got to see some pretty awesome images of Jupiter when I was in AZ. Through a telescope I could see at least 4 of it's moons and it's "weather bands."
Well, now is a good time to view Jupiter if you're in the Northern Hemisphere.
If you can wait 'till Feb 4th, Jupiter's moon Ganymede moves through the shadow of Jupiter, 7:00 - 7:30pm Eastern time.

I've been observing Jupiter throughout January, whenever I had a chance with the terrible weather we've been having here in the Northern Hemisphere!!!
It was the first time I'd seen it with my own eyes... The colours, the moons around it, the eye of Jupiter the gas giant stared me in the face.
It was pristine like a decorated handmade chocolate in a box.
