I struggled at work today but I think that was because i was on it so permanently (ie I was bored). At home again, it is working. I'm not sure perhaps if the system gets overloaded hence the need to clear history?

The new versions of Internet Explorer do not work properly with the site. Chrome does not work properly with the site. Best results with Firefox...

Reading everyone's posts I decided to download another web browser. I use an ipad and Firefox can't be downloaded onto it so I've downloaded, for free, a web browser called Terra. It's working brilliantly now!

Thank you all

Blessings!

Firefox works well with this forum, but my gmail doesn't function well unless I use chrome, so now I use different browsers for different sites... isn't computing complicated?

It's not that the browsers are not working, because they are working.. And what they do, they are doing properly. And that "do" is keeping ones cache and cookies clear at all times. To cut down on security issues. The "new posts" feature uses cache and cookies on your computer, and if they are not there or stored properly, the function will not be able to display anything.

Firefox seems to be the only one that uses a different way of keeping cookies safe. As most browsers do not work with the "new posts" function. From Internet Explorer, to Chrome, to Safari.

Other forums I visit work on chrome and explorer... but if it's SF, well, it must be those cookies...

Well, I take it all back. It's now stopped working on Terra. I guess I'll have to get used to it as I find using my ipad much easier than using a laptop.

I just did a Google search to find out how to clear cookies on an safari on the ipad. I've done it and fingers crossed it seems to have done the trick. Maybe I'll just need to do at every so often.
