Affirmations Around Money/Lotteries

You should imagine yourself already having won; what you feel, what you do.

"Could" is no affirmation.

Think along the lines of "I can't" gets you nothing. "I can" works wonders. "I will" works miracles.

However there are better spells / ritual for gaining money.

It keeps from going into the contrasting belief by stating it is already that way and creating doubt/resistance(See Abraham Hocks material).

Abraham Hicks, whoever that may be because it seems to be presented by a female just isn't for me for several reasons. Let's call hir a "he". I read his quotes here sometimes and find them questionable, sometimes highly contentious. Never mind that. It's just me. However, he is one of these people who has confused and corrupted what was once a simple, workable technique called "affirmations" or at least seems to lead people into that confusion.

Always strange to me anyway because we all - most of us - unwittingly affirm a lot about ourselves every day anyway but the idea of the technique was that a) it was highly focused and b) the act of frequent repetition overrode doubts.

I get the idea that some people here think "telling yourself" some affirmation maybe once or twice a day will achieve the aim. Or that a great complicated list of things about feeling better and improving your attitude/life will achieve the embodied aims. It probably won't work and I contend that if it does it's because behind the veil you are practicing the original technique.

That more traditional practice is simple, succinct and overrides doubts if one persists. Affirmations have to be practical and focused on the practitioner, not other people. If you want to act on other people a different approach is needed.

By all means get involved with Hicks but if I may offer a suggestion - question often. Critically examine.
