Seeking guidance

So today I had a dream that I saw someone getting killed and then I suddenly saw red and then orange and then I went out of the body. I heard high pitched sound, got scared and woke up.

What is this?

Most dreams have some kind of symbolism. The best way to interpret them is to ask your inner source of guidance.

I guess that if you went out of body it means that you became lucid, so you could've asked then what was the meaning of your dream.

From the little you described, I'd say that watching the news, reading a novel, or the movie led to dreaming about a killing, while the underlying reason / symbolism is some kind of fear you have.

So just a little background: I am very dissatisfied with my job. I really don’t like being in this field, it’s destroying me mentaly and physhicaly( I am a nurse).
So when I got home, I went to take a nap because I was exhausted and annoyed
I don’t know excatly all what happened in dreams but I remember clearly two of my patients sitting in my car and then one killed the other. It was very brutal. Then I looked into the ground and suddenly saw red colour and then orange(like chakras) and I lifted out of my body. Then a high pitched sound came, I got scared what could happen and got up.

It seems that affects your psychic well-being. It is likely that your dream was connected to that.

Maybe the the colors followed by getting out of your body were the guidance your inner knowledge gave you: to detach from your current situation.

That may mean to look for something that attracts you more, and leave the nursing field, or something less radical like changing your working place, or only your attitude by emotionally detaching from your job.

Anyway, you have to find a way out of your dissatisfying feelings, and find a life that treats you better.

Use meditation, prayer, astral travel, dream incubation, or anything else to get you in touch with your inner source of knowledge and guidance.

Interesting dream. I think it does relate somewhat to your job, but also to your ability to rise above situations or find peace in difficult times. Perhaps in the intensity of your job situation you are seeking spiritual experience or spiritual help, to aid you. The colours remind me of the sun, either a sunset or a sunrise. It's your choice really. Perhaps you need to see the sun set on one time of your life, and see it rise on another. I wouldn't take dreams to be the only impetus for big life changes, but I think they are a start. Perhaps consider what other related fields you could move into, that might be better for you physically and mentally. Just a thought. All the best!
