Seeing a deer

I have recently started meditating again and usually do guided meditations but last night I decided to just meditate with music. I imagined myself walking down steps to go deeper into meditation.
Next thing ( I didn't imagine, just saw) I saw myself kneeling down by a pond running my hand over the water. Then it was like I saw a premonition in the water. I saw myself with a man, a partner (I'm single).
Then when the image went, I went back and sat on the bottom step ready to go up and come out f meditation. A deer came and stood close by. Then it came over to me and I was stroking it and cuddling it.

i have not really seen things in meditation like that before. Only one time I saw a silhouette of two people holding hands. Maybe I saw things because I imagined myself walking down steps?
Not sure if the deer represents anything. If it's an animal totem/spirit animal.
Any thoughts/ insight would be great.

I always like to look up the symbolism of animals or whatever if they stand out to me, even if it isn't anything super significant there's always a message to be taken away. Maybe take the symbols in your vision and interpret them individually and put them together to suit the message that resonates with you. Much like interpreting dreams.
