Hi all,

I've been a member here for a few years but I've not been on much recently.

Last year my Dad passed away, quite unexpectedly (to me anyway) from a big stroke.

Fast forward a bit to earlier this year - a few months ago (July I think) and he came to visit me in my sleep. It was one of those dreams that felt ultra real, but I've chosen to post here rather than dreams for reasons which I'm sure will become obvious.

So, I'm asleep and all of a sudden I'm in my hometown (also my Dad's home town from many years back). I'm in a small typically British cafe and in walked my Dad. He looked exactly as he did the last few years wearing his blue shirt and black corduroy trousers. Anyway he told me to tell my step-mum to look in a black a4 book - wasn't sure if that makes sense to her but it felt as if she was looking out for something and that's where she needed to look.

Strangely, in the back ground there was music playing - the rugby 'world in union' theme. I later Googled the lyrics and found they were relevant to me personally and also are very spiritual - interesting, because although he respected my beliefs and kept an open mind, he wasn't a believer.

My step-mum didn't reply for about 2 weeks. She had been too busy to check her Facebook mail. Then, out of the blue, came the message from her that she had been searching for something for quite sometime and checked all sorts of A4 books to no avail. Then she found one that matched my description EXACTLY. Not only was it needed, it was VITAL.

In a very real way, this showed me that my mediumship was not just some fantasy or perhaps mental illness - but rather very real - in a very real way!

After reading Michael Newton's Journey of Souls book and Destiny of Souls book (which depicted what you just described - how the spirit reaches out to comfort or send messages to the grieving ones left behind), you experienced exactly how we're forever connected to our loved ones...:)

Thank you for sharing. I read your story with keen interest. Have you had more dream experiences or is this the only one? I am a true believer in connecting with the deceased in dreams as I have been doing so for many years now and I certainly can connect with your saying it was ultra-real. Maybe more real than the reality we know here.

Love it. I used to have dreams of my gram and I KNOW she was really there. Not so much anymore though. My dad passed last Feb and I have yet to hear from him. Good for you.
