I'm Kate and I'm in South Africa - I'm a uni student in music+psych - music has been my whole life and I'm enjoying my journey into using music for therapy and healing for others (and myself of course!)
I've recently (as in the past month) been having a glimpse of a spiritual awakening. The start of my journey came about in a complicated way but I am feeling positive and ready to grow.
I've had a lot of trouble with mental health issues, in particular bipolar, since mid teens. I've been hospitalised many times and some admissions have been very traumatic and damaging. I've been medicated since the start of my troubles - I do believe they've really helped at times and may be playing a part in my balance I've had recently. (Ultimately I'd like to be prescription drug free but need to be very cautious with that)
I'm establishing a meditation practice, spending more time in nature and learning from reading and just being..! right now I'm interested in the connecting with crystals, their uses and meanings.
