I always loved the following scene from 'Lost In Translation', in which Scarlett Johansson's character, who had previously felt so lost and alone, starts to see the beauty in the world as the result of her relationship with a kindred spirit, played by Bill Murray. I love the cinematography and the music that accompanies it (a track called 'Alone In Kyoto' by Air), which fits the scene so beautifully (I love the soundtrack to the whole movie, actually, whomever put it together did a brilliant job):
