Having said that, I am NOT saying that an NDE happening is the only way to experience this awesome glimpse of the reality.

Start a thread on NDEs and I'll contribute to it.

Thanks again, Still Waters...and a good idea...! I'll do that within the next day or two (too late now...gotta hit the sack!). I'm anxious to hear yours and anyone else who'd like to share.

Hi Barnacle, I thought reincarnation happened in accordance with linear timelines until I had a dream in 2002. The dream involved a HS sweetheart. We used to be sweethearts all through HS from 7th through 12th, very platonic, but whenever one person broke up with someone, Tommy and I would go to the movies, the park for a picnic, etc. It was like we were helping each other through break-ups.

He died in 1991, from a car accident involving a deer. In 2002, I had the following dream:

Tommy and I were sitting in a room, don't know where. He tells me, "I'm sorry I should have been a better boyfriend." I said, "no, no, you were great! We really helped each other through the rough times."

He pulled out a map and set it in front of me. He said, "I'm coming back" I said "To what time period?" He said, "1836". Suddenly the map showed the outline of the US and he pointed to an area that was around North Dakota, but I was told in dream, it's not ND yet. I also saw a stagecoach appear on the map. I said to Tommy, "Oh nice! I hope you really like it!"

That was the end of the dream. The impression that I got when I awoke is that time is irrelevant and reincarnation did not operate in a linear manner. What ever lesson that my friend Tommy needed to work on, he would obtain it in that particular timeframe (1836).

Fascinating! Hope he enjoys!

I get deep feelings of dread (fear and loathing hahaha) when I think of a past life on Earth. Really can't imagine wanting to ever do it again due to the poor quality and limited availability of freedoms and civil rights. And the oppressive, back-breaking, spirit-crushing heavy hand of patriarchy, judgment, and religious intolerance (and I mean within one's own religion, lol).

But...discussion of the non-linear aspects of incarnation are really fascinating, problems with the past aside. Perhaps one day the future will be such that the past will eventually not be such a bad place to come back to

Peace & blessings,
7L

I once actually met my past life self, we both were aware of each other (so she was meeting her future self). This experience shows there is no such thing as past and future as we both were able to still meet each other in he same now moment of time and share an experience together in each others space and time.

Everything is happening at once. Time is just a concept which in truth does not exist. Every moment is happening now.
