Are there notifications?

I haven't gotten any notifications other than private messages, and I want to be able to keep up with threads as the conversation progresses. I also don't see anything that kind of shortcuts you to the ones related to your post. Does this site just not have these features or is there something I'm missing?

If u click on "POST REPLY" then there comes an option of "Notification Type:" in which u can select "Instant email notification". In control panel -> "Edit Options" -> "Default Thread Subscription Mode" u can change the default. When a thread is open: "Thread Tools" -> "Subscribe to this Thread".

In Firefox: "Quick Links" -> "Miscellaneous" -> "Subscribed Threads".
"User CP" -> on left "List Subscriptions", "User CP" -> on right "View all Subscribed Threads".

Should be simplified

Why isn't there a button ie:'view new posts' and or 'who's replied to your posts' and eg:'thread following where posted'?

Shouldn't be a maze.

I find this forum works best on Mozilla Firefox, and the other browsers don't work well.

If you use Mozilla Firefox, there should be a drop down option, "New Posts". that drop-down will have 'Previous Visit", "Previous Day", "Previous Week" etc. When you use that, however, it quickly fills your cache. So you have to clear cache pretty often.

It's pretty quirky, but you can get it to work.

Hi, MM.

There should be a "Thread Tools" at the top of each thread page, that has a "Subscribe To Thread" option in the drop-down menu. If you subscribe to a thread you will be notified by email.

See my previous post about the "New Posts" option.

If you use Mozilla Firefox, you'll have more joy. . I haven't been able to get the forum to work properly on other browsers.

Is it possible to have email notifications as the default instead of trying to remember to click it on each thread?

Thank you kralaro. I found the control panel! Looks like I'll have to wait until I've been here for a bit longer, as I don't have these privallages at the minute it seems.
