And now that I have read this through, and found some answers for myself too. My Mom journeyed home on August 31 and things have been pretty "silent" too.

Thank you for all the guidance and experience shared in this thread for the OP and the rest of us who are wondering about re-contact.

I am very sorry to hear that Raven Poet. My thoughts are with you. It is very difficult as family energetics learn a new way of operating so prayers with you all as you transition this.

It does seem that people demonstrate differently after journeying onwards from this life. Some people need to linger, some people go straight to the light. Some come back after going to the light, and others don't.

I was reading something about bereavement recently. This is not meant to freak anyone but really more as acknowledgement. There are some people - for one reason or another - that we will always grieve for. Others - we won't look back. And some - we will grieve for a season. I think I want to say that to offer acceptance to people who might feel bad if they are hurting several years down the line and *feel* they should be over it. There is no right way or wrong way. IT is the flip side of love. And that is not to say if you don't grieve, you didn't love. It's just a different energetic.

no betters, no worse, no right way or wrong way. Just as it is.
