I really have an appreciation for them all!

There is so much diversity of species in the world that I could spend years exploring one ecosystem and still be unsatisfied by what I learnt.

It is like choosing a favourite colour out of a million different colours.

Currently if I could be anywhere it would probably be in a rain-forest gorge area - surrounded by sandstone cliffs and tucked away from harsh elements - these sorts of places usually contain pockets of very ancient forests - really special stuff,

Color Rain and forests..

I love rain and lush environments, so I have to go with a rainforest, temperate or tropical (if rainy season). The cloud forests in Costa Rica I loved particularly. Hope to visit Washington state/B.C some time..

I love where I live, 4 very distinct seasons. It always seems like it's changing. Right now we're in a fall winter transition period. During this time the weather can get real intense nothing severe just intense. It's hard to explain. The seasons are in battle. All day yesterday we had 30 mph winds up to 40mph gust the waves of lake Michigan we're crashing over sidewalks and into the roads. But then the winds just stopped. Like someone turned the switch off . Since then its been calm and not even a light breeze. The winds started just as fast as they stopped. The winter doors are opening and closing. Very soon they'll fly open and like a switch, here's winter. Same thing happens winter into spring but opposite.

I like cold/snowy environments. I don't know if I would like to live there,
but I hope to visit places like Iceland, Alaska and Scandinavia someday..
