When I am out, I sometimes want to verify being out by looking at my physical body lying down. I have found that as my astral body gets closer to my physical body, I begin to experience the sleep-paralysis/pre-exit vibrations in my astral body. However, usually (for me, anyway), I will feel the vibrations until my astral body separates from my physical body, then I never feel them again during my projection (occasionally I may feel them upon reintegration). It almost reminds me of holding the two positive or negative sides of a pair of magnets together.
It happened most recently last night. I exited and verified my sleeping form, and I was overcome with this maternal type of love for myself (so sorry that this sounds kind of cheesy...
). I reached out to stroke my cheek and felt the vibrations in my astral body. This is just one example but it has happened many times.
It isn't uncomfortable or even unnatural-feeling. I just started to wonder if this is an experience unique to me.
