First Timer!

Well this is my first time posting too, lol, but here's my first experience with acupuncture that took place yesterday: I've had weak muscle tone and joints all of my life. Feeling like I've never been completely grounded into my physical body, I've taken it upon myself to do something about it. My acupuncturist applied needles to my calves, wrists, and facial area. During the application I felt relaxation, am tingly feeling in the root chakra area(particularly the buttocks). That was my only visit, and ever since I felt slightly more grounded, and my calves are very tender. It's like I can actually pick them up from the ground when walking. What do you guys have to say about this? By the way my acupuncturist showed me a graph and all of my meridians were significantly low.

Good that you felt some improvement. The recommended course of treatments would be 6 sessions.
Just a by-the-by, it is important to check that the acupuncturist is properly qualified, a member of one of the professional bodies, has medical practice insurances, and has inspected, registered premises.

The first time I got this done I thought for sure that there was still a needle inside if my knee. It helped a lot when you keep your appointments and do what they tell you. They told me to keep my legs elevated as much as possible. I hope this helps you.
