It is similar to past life regression, but it is taking a look into future lives, except it can always change based on the present you are living in.

Dr. Brian Weiss uses this in his practice. The idea is that an individual can be progressed into the future to see possible future outcomes. The future may be mutable, so there is some controversy about this therapy. It is said that if you wish to see your future life, look at the one you are living now. I have seen only one life of my own that appears to be a future one. I'm going to write off all the dreams where I am on board the Star Trek "Enterprise" as fantasy!

Very interesting concept. But, scary, nonetheless.

I've heard of it. I read a story years ago about this, it may have even been on these forums I can't recall. But he claimed to see a future life.
He was married with multiple wives and he said he (as in his future life) thought the past(our present) was strange for thinking polygamy was taboo and wrong.
There were more details like he was on a ship in space but I can't remember the whole thing.
Personally I wouldn't want to do this. For one I may risk being able to find out when I'll die in this life. Like say I find out I'm alive in the year 2030
as someone else it would mean I will never live past 35 in this life which wouldn't be easy to accept. The future is scary to think about too. At least
the past is over with. I don't want to see what I'll have to deal with.
