Suicide and souls

What do you believe happens to those souls that take their own lives?

My sister took her own life on Wednesday, I believe she thought she would be with our mum again who passed away 14 years ago. My sister strongly believed that our mum's spirit was with her.

I hope she is but does anyone really know? I had what I thought was an enlightenment the morning after she passed that she was indeed with our mum but now I don't know if it was my mind playing tricks?

I have no answers for you, but I wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of your sister.

Well, from what I have learned through astral travel is the soul will have to come back try the same lesson again. Suicide is like dropping out of class. You will eventually have to choose to go back under very similar circumstances in order to attempt to complete the lesson and advance. Nothing bad happens to them. No one is forced to incarnate. The Earth is viewed as a particularly hard school. Souls choose to incarnate here because of this. It promotes accelerated growth and learning. If the suicide decides they never wish to incarnate ever again they are free to to make that choice. They will pick up their studies another way. It's not like in the Bible and so many other religions that preach damnation and punishment. there is none. Only love and encouragement to keep learning and advancing. Your sister is okay. She most likely was greeted by your mother and any others she loved in life who have passed. She very likely also paid you a visit to help you deal with her passing. When it is your time to go she will likely be among those who greet you back home.

I hope I can offer you comfort through something i'VE BEEN studying, Swedenborg, who has been highly accurate considering he wrote anonymously in the 1700s. Everything he says rings a bell with my spirit and has also answer questions that in my heart I knew was wrong from organized religions. I DO NOT believe suicides go to hell at all!

I do trust they will go through a purge witht he help of angels and they wil be in a great place where you will see them again. I don't care what organized religion says--pray for those who have passed, esp if they passed in a bad way. You have no idea how what we do affect the spiritual realm.

I like the idea that she may heal her soul after this, she was so very troubled for a long time and so many tried to help her but she tended to push people away quite badly.
